We are searching for a Pharmacist to perform a variety of professional services and responsibilities related to the clinical review of patient drug therapy, knowledgeable of computer applications, pertinent state and federal law/regulations and provide immediate direction and supervision of assigned personnel. Perform immediate direction and supervision of assigned Pharmacy personnel and activities.

• Hours: 40hrs
• Shift: Day shift with weekend, and holiday rotation; eve/night rotation; 7:00a - 3:30p, 7:30a-4:00p 10:00a-6:30p, 3:00p-11:30p, 3:30p-midnight
• Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of a five year Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Pharmacy is required.
• Must be a Registered Pharmacist licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
• Over one year related experience preferred.
• Consideration given to new graduates
• Documented experience with clinical programs such as pain management, anticoagulation, antibiotic management, parenteral nutrition, pharmacokinectics, opioid withdrawal, critical care and Emergency Room Trauma services are strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Traditional pharmacy distributive functions are included in the role as well.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID 19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
