Patient Support Associates (FT) Job at Bethany Medical Clinic of New York
HIRING PATIENT SUPPORT ASSOCIATES FOR MEDICAL OFFICES IN NYC
Responsibilities include:
- Effectively communicate with patients via phones and other platforms
- Update/verify patient information for every visit
- Collect and document all patient payments,
- Check patients in and out for their visits
- Schedule follow up appointments
- Triage for patients with virtual appointments
- Send referrals, scan documents into EMR
- Prepare Provider schedules for the next day
- Insurance eligibility checks for every patient
- Take up other duties as assigned (from managers, Providers,)
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be welcoming, dependable, motivated, organized, detailed oriented, able to multi-task
- Positive attitude, team player
- Ability to adapt to departmental changes.
- Strong computer skills and customer service skills.
- Able to handle and solve problems in real-time
- Must be flexible with shifts and schedules. We are open Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm, Fridays 8-4pm and Saturdays 10-6pm.
- Must be willing to travel to our locations in NYC when needed
