Simpson Automotive has been in business since 1951. Our Buena Park location looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Counterman to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
· Compare part numbers and part names to printed invoices and order forms.
· Compare and read part ID numbers (VIN numbers, parts numbers and driver’s license numbers) from a printed or written format.
· Issue correct parts as they are requested.
· Answer phone calls, provide pricing quotes and other information, and respond to inquiries.
· Prepare individual invoices for all sales.
· Pull purchases from stock. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an order if requested.
· Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up
· Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.
· Keep front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered
· Replenish assigned inventory daily. Advise Parts Manager when areas of the department are not in satisfactory condition.
· Keep current on new products and product updates.
· Participate in all training programs that are made available.
· Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
· Complete all paperwork accurately and in a readable manner either utilizing computer equipment or manually depending on the work required.
Qualifications:
· Bilingual Spanish preferred
· GM experience preferred
· Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
· One year of sales experience
· Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time
· Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,800.00 - $6,000.00 per month
