We are currently seeking a Part Time Team Member who is “for the birds”.

Qualifications:

· Have a love of nature (particularly birds)

· Friendly, outgoing disposition

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Have weekend availability

· Be comfortable working with computers (basic functions)

· Ability to lift and carry bird food bags (20-40 lbs) for our customers – a foundation of our service!

· Some retail experience is desirable, but not mandatory

· Knowledge of local birds is helpful, but we will teach you all you need to know

Responsibilities:

· Greeting customers and assisting them with selecting the best products for their needs

· Educating customers about the birds and wildlife in their yards

· Processing sales transactions

· Receiving inventory shipments and restocking shelves

· Keeping the store clean and organized
