We’re seeking professionals with strong phone, computer and administrative skills for these temp to hire Customer Advocate positions with a leading Health Insurance Company. You would be making outbound calls to Healthcare Providers regarding refunds along with other areas needed for this role.

Snapshot:

  • Pay Rate - $15/ hour
  • Great Temp to Hire Opportunity
  • 4 weeks of paid training
  • Work Location – Onsite – Springfield, IL
  • Schedule – Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm On-site
  • After training potential flex hours offered as long as consecutive 8 hour shift is between 7:30am - 5:30pm

Description:

  • Medical terminology and/or background preferred
  • Will need to pull inventory daily
  • Conduct research as to why the phone call needed
  • Make outbound calls to providers to gain additional information
  • Approximately 20 outbound calls per day to Healthcare Providers
  • Performs basic management of electronic files (i.e., print, copy, transfer and delete).
  • Accesses information from a computer and/or maintains a computer database.
  • Enters data for envelopes, labels, form letters and correspondence.
  • Formats and produce documents.
  • Detects and correct errors.
  • Uses word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other software on a computer.
  • Can also use basic office equipment (including a photocopy machine, facsimile machine, binding machine, etc.).
  • Can follow instructions
  • Be fine with being on the phone the majority of the day with repetitive daily functions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma OR GED
  • Medical/healthcare terminology or background preferred and helpful but not required
  • Good computer skills required - performs tasks on computer - computer/keyboard skills required (average: 5,000 to 8,000 keystrokes)
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Great Phone Etiquette with strong communication skills
  • Strong administrative and grammatical skills needed
  • Analytical, organizational skills and independent decision-making skills required
