SUMMARY

Order Success serves as a key resource within the sales operations function in the daily management of orders to ensure optimal order flow and overall customer success. This position will monitor and review all incoming orders to improve opportunities in efficiency and accuracy of orders through our internal processes. Additionally, this role will identify orders that could cause delay in processing and work to mitigate any issues that would prevent efficient flow such as complex orders and/ or orders that need additional information or clarification. This position will also initiate alerts for early purchase opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES to include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review all orders that are identified as “hot” orders by customer and orders that include products of a more complex nature such as hoods, flexible systems (evolution / enterprise), AWI – Wood orders, lab planner orders, high volumes and non-standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments by working with Estimating and Engineering to ensure that we have the capability of producing a non-standard product / component
  • Identify complex and / or high-volume orders and communicate any complexities among any internal /external departments
  • Identify and collaborate with engineering to detail specified parts to ensure that we can successfully procure parts that have long lead times– fixtures, hoses, special hardware, and raw materials.
  • Ensure all supporting data is included with order submissions from the dealer in the right format (tech sheets, CAD drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • Make sure the technical sheets match the spreadsheets. Initiate and process order revisions if discrepancies are found.
  • Other assigned duties as determined by manager

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree with 5 plus years’ experience; or combination of education and 10+ year’s related experience. Previous experience in an engineering / technical role required. Knowledge of Kewaunee products, parts and order flow process is strongly preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in

written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
