Within our organization, the Operations department works directly with terminals, rails, depots, motor carriers and suppliers in the region daily. For this role specifically, the tasks focus on equipment flow and positioning and final mile exception handling for our export clients. This is accomplished using proprietary internal systems and collaboration with teams both local and international.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team that coordinates Equipment Operations and Export Shipment Operations for OOCL’s Southwestern region.
• Innovate updates to OOCL’s local operational procedure to stay ahead of industry regulations and market trends.
• Support the local export economy by sustaining a healthy container inventory.
• Keep plans to maximize vessel utilization on track.
• Develop dynamic relationships with vendors to improve customer experience.
• Provide a vital link to world trade at the best and most innovative international container transport and logistics provider.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years Industry-Related Experience
• Minimum of 2 years management/supervisory experience
• Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Knowledge of OOCL Enterprise Systems (or willingness to learn)
• Local and some distance traveling
