Job Summary
Introba is hiring an Office Director to lead our Indianapolis Office.

The ideal candidate will form a viable part of the Introba team and fully accountable and responsible for the growth of the office and presence within the marketplace. The principal – Office Director provides leadership, business development, technical support and management resources essential to Introba for decision-making and management accountability.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Primary roles and responsibilities include:
  • Works with the Introba’s leadership team to develop and manage against a strategic business plan specifically supporting regional growth and activities.
  • Lead and grow the local regional team including hiring and shared team management.
  • Lead culture efforts within the office and region and help bring teams together to celebrate each other and Introba.
  • Champion Introba processes, policies including project management, contracting practices and integration with the Global Infrastructure.
  • Attend workload meetings and oversee the workload of the office production teams.
  • Uphold and maintain Introba design standards for quality and the broader aspects of building design services.
  • Provide support and guidance on People initiatives such vacation approvals, hiring, performance management, terminations, etc.
  • Upholds and demonstrate the principle of the company (Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration and Client Focused) by actively creating and maintaining an inclusive and productive working environment.
Marketing
  • Establish Introba as a leader in sustainability and engineering in the local market by introducing and engaging key architecture, developer and owner clients.
  • Represent Introba in the local/regional marketplace thru local and regional events.
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships.
People
  • Culture development for local and regional office and team.
  • Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity, development and satisfaction with input from local leaders and Human Resources.
  • Grow the team and actively participate in recruiting and hiring activities.
Financial
  • Develop and manage financials against annual strategic business plan.
  • Support project managers & PICs as necessary to ensure Deltek financial system is updated with project plans.
Technical
  • Instill the concept of quality being the responsibility of every design team member to meet client’s requirements and expectations.
  • Keep current on new developments in innovative design; included in this is participating in seminars and/or professional associations, attend trade shows relevant to company’s interests.
  • Actively participate in projects as Principal in Charge or Project Manager (duties of each can be provided).

  • The measurable positive impact of engineering and quality control on the services of the company to its clients and the company's ability to improve its competitive effectiveness in the marketplace.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years of specific high performance building systems design and/or sustainable design experience within the AEC industry.
  • 15+ years’ experience in a technical, project management and team management role.
  • Professional Engineer or equivalent certification preferred. LEED Accreditation (encouraged)
  • Conversant with codes of practice and standards.
  • Established in the marketplace in commercial, higher education, S&T, healthcare, and/or government market sectors.
  • 5+ years of business development related activities.
  • Team player and desire to Collaborate nationally with other Introba USA offices.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication and coaching skills with clients and staff
  • Demonstrated financial and operations management.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities Upholds, lives, and delivers the core values of the company.
