Job Description - Transportation

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Our drivers are compassionate, caring, reliable and responsible individuals charged with transporting clients with mobility challenges or individuals/seniors and others who require transporation to their destinations safely and on time.

SCOPE

Personal Care Services MidSouth Transporation provides transportaion services to, individuals with transportation needs so that they can continue with their daily lives unimpeded by travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Show up to work in a timely manner

-Take work orders from supervisor

-Drive clients to their destinations on time

-Assist clients as they get into and out of the vehicle

-Report any incidents or accidents to the supervisor

-Operate wheelchair lifts as needed

-Adhere to company policies and procedures

-Notify Office or Immediate Supervisor 6hours before scheduled vehicle pick up if you are unable to report

QUALIFICATONS

-Must have previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring and timely manner.

-Must possess a minimum of a valid F endorsement on your license

-Must have a clean driving record

-Must have a great work history with a track record of being reliable, responsible individual (must provide references from previous employer(s))

-Must have a high school diploma or GED

-Must have a working phone (wireless) and be available for assignments as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

-Know how to keep a level head in a busy environment and under pressure

-Must be passionate about helping people

-Must have great communication skills and be able to communicate with all types of people, no matter their position

-A good working knowledge of the West Tennessee area is a plus, but not required

-First Aid/CPR certification is a plus but not required

DOT & DRUG TEST

-If PCS MidSouth Transport LLC pays for your DOT and Drug test you are required to work 91days

-If you quit prior to 91days then the charge for the DOT and Drug test will be deducted from your last pay check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

PCS MidSouth Transport provides necessary disinfectants, as well as masks, and antibacterial sprays and wipes for its drivers and customers. We follow the CDC guidelines for Covid-19.
