We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Support II to join our team at our biotechnology manufacturing facility in West Lebanon, NH. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks, disaster recovery operations, data backups, and network security measures. The candidate will also be required to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administer computer networks based on CISCO Technologies covering but not limited to Switches and Access Points, and related computing environments based on VMWare Technology, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
  • Perform periodic disaster recovery operations and data backups based on VEEAM technology, covering VEEAM administration console, agents, and associated hardware like Tape Library and Network Attached Storage.
  • Coordinate, plan, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
  • Replace faulty network hardware components when required.
  • Maintain, configure, and monitor virus protection, intrusion detection, and white-listening agents.
  • Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made based on SolarWinds technology, covering SolarWinds administration console and agents.
  • Confer with network users about solving existing system problems.
  • Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
  • Coordinate computer network access and use.
  • Design, configure, and test networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
  • Document work on the electronic system (ServiceNow) for Service Requests, Incidents, Problems, Changes, CMDB, and Knowledge Database.
  • Ensure network-related documentation like drawings and diagrams are maintained updated/current.
  • Work collaboratively with Local IT Security responsible, Local Application Support and End User devices responsible, Local IT Service Desk responsible, and Local IT Compliance and Computer Systems and Infrastructure Qualification.
  • Collaborate with various Novo Nordisk Corporate stakeholders who are responsible for maintaining Core Network Components and services such as Databases.
  • Perform onsite hands-on work including adding, removing, and maintaining equipment located in our three server rooms, various IDFs, and MDFs.
  • Comply with various policies and procedures related to our biotechnology manufacturing facility, which is currently expanding to include two other nearby locations, an expanded warehouse, and a new production suite that requires expansion of the IT Infrastructure/Network to service those areas.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT operations support.
  • Strong technical skills in Cisco Technologies, VMWare, and Veeam.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of network security measures, disaster recovery operations, and data backups.
  • Experience in configuring and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to perform onsite hands-on work and comply with various policies and procedures related to our biotechnology manufacturing facility.

  • Location: 9 Technology Drive, West Lebanon, NH 03784 (Fully Onsite)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with 1-hour lunch break
  • 6 month contract

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
