Oracle DBA with MongoDB
This position is 100% Remote!

Job Requirements:

• 5 or more year's professional experience as a Oracle database Administrator with strong working knowledge of Operational/Systems DBA to setup and support Oracle 12c/19c databases in RAC and Non-RAC environment.
• 2 or more year of experience working as a MongoDB database administrator supporting MongoDB 4.0 and 4.2 environments
• In depth knowledge of the Oracle architecture and good working knowledge of MongoDB databases
• Experienced in installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle v19c databases and clusters.
• Experienced in installing, configuring, and upgrading MongoDB 4.x databases and clusters
• Experience in working container databases, Golden Gate.
• Experience in configuring and supporting Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Experience in setting up and managing MongoDB OpsManager deployments.
• Hands on experience of backup and recovery of MongoDB and Oracle databases.
• Good Understanding of DISA STIG's and experience working JSM audit submissions
• Experience in deploying Oracle/MongoDB on AIX/ Linux on Power and x86 environments and good understanding of operating system concepts of AIX and Linux (RHEL).
• Good understanding of operating system concepts of AIX and Linux (RHEL).
• Good knowledge of capacity planning and architecture design for database server deployment.
• Experience in setting up backups using RMAN and MongoDB OpsManager .
• Experience performing routine maintenance on Oracle and Mongo DBs
• Working knowledge of Oracle and Mongo DB catalogs w/ experience writing monitoring scripts.
• Working knowledge of Database Security mechanism and auditing using internal and external tools such as Guardium.
• Experience in using Splunk, Nimsoft or other specialized tools for monitoring, availability, and performance analysis..
• Experience with automation tools such as Control-M and Ansible.
• Experience in scripting languages (Shell or Python or Perl) for automating DBA administrative tasks.
• Experience in testing and implementing Oracle/MongoDB STIG implementation, testing, and other vulnerability remediation.
• Creating databases, migrating database objects from non-production to production environment
• Provide 24 x 7 Support to Critical production systems.
• Experience in working closely with the application development teams to resolve any performance related issues and provide application support.

Preferred Skills:

• Oracle Database Administration Certification.
• MongoDB Database Administration Certification
• Added advantage of knowledge of administration of MongoDB Postgres, LDAP/OUD, MySQL.
• Health care industry related experience.
• Ensures compliance with all system, disaster recovery and security audit policies.
• Writes complex programming/scripts.
• Participate in disaster recovery design, testing and execution
• Monitor and evaluate database performance and adjust database configuration as appropriate
• Make highly complex physical changes to current databases, often this requires working after hours
• Maintain operational documentation (e.g., procedures, task lists, architecture blueprints)
• Address customer concerns and issues related to database management
• Evaluate database performance and adjust configuration appropriately
• Provide production support for outages, restore/recovery events
