BIG PICTURE:

We are searching for a data-driven and detail oriented Mobile Product Manager with a track record of developing successful mobile apps on iOS and Android. The Dhar Mann application ranked #1 globally in the Apple Store within 48 hours of its launch. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of mobile app product development, an analytic mindset, excellent communication skills, and an eye for great mobile app design. In addition, they will possess a passion for solving user problems, and always aiming to develop meaningful features that are user friendly. Ultimately, this individual will take ownership of the overall product development lifecycle (including strategy, design, development, testing, and growth).

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Prioritizing and developing a product roadmap towards building new features on Android and iOS while ensuring a meaningful experience
• Owning the strategic vision for the product and lead the development team through delivery
• Staying up to date on the latest trends in mobile,and other emerging platforms, ensuring the mobile apps continuous success in the future
• Leading cross-functional teams composed of design and engineers
• Quantifying and measuring product success and validating hypotheses via A/B testing
• Running prototypes to continually optimize our app and refine the roadmap
• Responsible for scrums with team members and planning sessions
• Quickly building and delivering product iterations
• Managing timelines, delivery, dependencies,and communication across tech and product dev teams
• Effectively preparing and presenting roadmaps, statuses, demos, and features to the CEO, developers, and any executive audiences
• Managing end-to-end mobile rollouts and maintenance serving as an internal advocate for user needs and requests
• Maintaining product documentation

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• 4+ years of product management experience with mobile apps in the consumer/social space
• Outstanding technical and non-technical communication skills
• Demonstrated technical product ownership for large-scale mobile products
• Experience with managing native (mobile) and/or web development teams
• Strong knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies, and tools
• Direct, hands-on experience with writing user stories and use cases, grooming product backlogs, and coordinating and prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Proficiency in project management software platforms
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Deep understanding of product metrics and KPIs, able to implement a product analytics strategy and use data to drive product decision making
• Ability to understand abstract, complex systems from technical descriptions
• A strong, high-level knowledge of common web and mobile platform architectures
• Ability to bridge the gap between business, creative and engineering
• Ability to make quick decisions to solve complex technical and operational challenges
• Fluency with using data to help steer decisions
• Excellent at juggling multiple projects, staying organized, and prioritizing deadlines
• UX/UI experience in creating delightful and elegant mobile experiences and journeys
• Familiar with mainstream design tools, such as Sketch, Axure, Visio, etc
• Strong understanding of marketing technologies

The Mobile Product Manager will report directly to the CEO

Currently, the Mobile Product Manager has no personnel reporting directly to him or her

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

Our Mobile Product Manager will work remotely from home or personal office and will be required to utilize Dhar Mann Studios time tracking software to log and submit work hours

Our organization looks to hire the BEST of the best and we focus on finding candidates who are a strong cultural fit. We have a 3 month 'Discovery Period' in place that allows us to get to know each new hire better and assess their skill set. Management-level roles will be part of a different Discovery Period for each step of the ladder (but again this does not affect your pay or compensation package).
