JOB TITLE: Medical Assistant or LPN

Job Description Summary:

Georgia Mountains Health is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN, for an immediate full-time position. GMH is an established medical practice offering benefits, stability, and supports a four-day family friendly work schedule, during business days of Monday - Friday 8am-6pm, holidays off, no nights, no weekends, plus a low-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in primary care/family practice and is comfortable working with all ages doing lab blood draws, injections, taking vitals, detailed documentation, triage, and ability to move quickly from one task to another independently. Ensure charts are prepped with necessary documents for physician review. Answers phone calls, emails, voicemails and returns patient calls in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate will be comfortable with computers in general and EMR systems preferably, Athena. Candidates must have good communication skills (both written and oral) and understand and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Requirements:

Minimum of one year experience in primary health care preferred.

CPR certification required.

Ability to speak Spanish strongly desired.

Satisfactory background check and drug test required.
