Oxbo is seeking a Mechanical Engineer that is passionate about designing agricultural machinery for unique niche markets. This position requires an individual that is interested in engaging in all aspects of product development, including understanding market and customer needs, technical engineering analysis and documentation, as well as manufacturability of the finished product. Enthusiasm for hands-on work outside of the office is a must, as this role includes prototype testing in the lab and field and on-site production support. Some travel is required for testing and to visit suppliers, customers, or other facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
• Demonstrated SolidWorks or other 3D CAD solid modeling software skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Design experience with agricultural equipment or other off-road mobile equipment
• Proficiency in the use of Solidworks for sheet metal design, large assemblies, advanced modeling tools, and drafting
• FEA software experience (ANSYS preferred)
• Experience operating and general familiarity with agricultural equipment
• Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods
