Established in 1946 by Jack Dameron, Dameron Alloy Foundries, Inc. has been dedicated to producing high quality Ferrous & Non-Ferrous investment castings. We are proud to provide casting to the Aerospace & Defense, Commercial Valve & Pump, glass container industry and various other specialty Markets.

Currently run by John Dameron as a family business, Dameron Alloy Foundries is a manufacturer of investment castings with full in house CNC machine capabilities. We currently have facilities located in California, Kentucky, and Mexico. Our Cypress, CA location serves as corporate headquarters as well as DAF International Distribution Center.

Dameron is committed to customer satisfaction and the integrity of the products it supplies. We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Manager.

The Maintenance Manager manages and assists in the completion of the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery, including HVAC, building lighting systems, CNC machines, production line equipment, furnaces, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance. The position supervises and coordinates the work of employees who repair and maintain building/facility, equipment and machinery.

  • Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees the work product while minimizing overtime and call-in hours.
  • Coaches, counsels and manages performance of direct reports.
  • Develops and maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery.
  • Arranges for and manages appropriate third-party contractor support as needed.
  • Prepares budgets and secures estimates and cost quotes as needed.
  • Enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly inventory and work areas.
  • Coordinates with other departments as needed to address maintenance or project support.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or trade school diploma.
  • Six years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.).
  • Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CMRP or HVAC).
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial production machining equipment/systems (CNC and Manual).
