Life Enrichment Coordinator - On-Call/Per Diem
Life Enrichment Coordinator - Overview:
As a leading senior services and healthcare organization in Northern California, we provide a continuum of care and social services to enable seniors to age well and live their lives to the fullest. The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing meaningful programming of activities that include activities geared to interest, ability, and need.
What you’ll do as a Life Enrichment Coordinator:
Provide an opportunity for socializing and encouraging relationships among residents/patients in a positive, caring, and stimulating environment.
Inspire patients to become actively involved in life
Create and maintain a relationship with patients by providing support in daily living
Responsible for documenting records and notes
Work closely with other departments to provide exemplary service and ensure consistent care for the patients

For you to be a successful Life Enrichment Coordinator:
BA/BS in a related field; rec therapy, psychology, health care, geriatrics
Experience working with geriatric groups and those with dementia
Creative, flexible, energetic, self-motivated, innovative thinker, ability to work alone and within an interdisciplinary team
Sensitive to varying levels of physical and emotional health
