Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse is part of a and exciting and fast paced Interdisciplinary Team responsible for providing direct resident care in accordance with established plans.
Job Duties:
Conduct and document a thorough assessment of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout the resident’s course of treatment.- Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, assist in the implementation of the resident’s treatment plan.
- Provide routine nursing service for residents as directed by the Registered Nurse/Nursing Supervisor.
- Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provide regular resident status updates to appropriate personnel.
- Attend and participate in department/facility meetings, as required.
Qualifications
Completion of an approved course of practical or vocational nursing study.- Currently licensed as Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
- Must have long term care experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Proficient with Ohio skilled nursing regulation.
- Must have strong computer skills.
