2 positions:
- Island Branch Library, 5701 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach, FL
- Rocky Bluff Library, 6750 US Highway 301 North, Ellenton, FL
Monday – Saturday, up to a maximum of 27 hours per week, not to exceed 6 months. Schedule will vary, with some evenings and Saturdays.

Manatee County Public Library System supports the County’s growing community and visitors through a wide range of educational and technological resources, programs, and classes at seven facilities. We offer a wide array of digital books and audiobooks, unique collections, databases, and special events for people of all ages.
What You Will Do
- Work at the Circulation Desk, checking books out and registering people for library cards
- Assist readers looking for books
- Help with branch exhibits, displays and programming for all age groups
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons and visitors

- You are outgoing and enjoy working with the public
- You enjoy talking to the public about library materials and services
- You think outside the box and collaborate with other staff
- You are skilled in customer service

Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Some college coursework preferred.
One or more years of customer service experience. Prior library experience and shift lead/supervisory experience desired.

Valid driver license required, with valid Florida driver license required within 30 days of hire.
