POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Product Data Coordinator manages the Product Data Coordinators, ASR’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data management system, and data/documentation integration efforts, while working closely with relevant stakeholders such as Regulatory Affairs, Packaging, Research & Development, Quality, Master Data, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

This position requires expert knowledge of specification management and development, including approval workflow process, change management, and the PLM architecture. The Product Data Coordinator Lead guides the Product Data Coordinator team and assists with their growth within the organization. The Product Data Coordinator Lead is responsible for ensuring that stakeholders receive necessary training to comply with internal requirements for accurate product data management.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as lead advisor and contact to the New Product Development team on Product Lifecycle coordination efforts
  • Define, document, and maintain system processes and structure for all Product Data
  • Support cross-functional teams to ensure Product Data Coordinators input is meeting timelines for all projects and initiatives
  • Review documentation and analyze key technical attributes to ensure internal requirements are met
  • Develop and provide system training across organization, as appropriate, focused upon system requirements, processes, and regulations.
  • Input and manage system data including ingredient, Formula, Packaging, Artwork and Finished Good data by creating specifications within PLM, and ensuring all internal requirements are met
  • Accountable for specification completeness and accuracy to ensure compliant product data
  • Partner with Procurement & Supplier Quality to maintain a relationship that allows documentation compliance and validity for audit purposes
  • Provide guidance and leadership regarding day-to-day activities and data quality initiatives
  • Initiate, create, develop, and implement continuous improvement actions to support company objectives, and ensure completion of projects landing on time in full, including Specification Initiative Projects
  • Point of contact for troubleshooting and system testing.
  • Leading projects for data cleansing efforts and for additional new business opportunities


WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional Experience – At least five (5) - seven (7) years of recent experience in Regulatory Affairs, Data Management, Documentation Analysis, or related field is required
  • Software Experience – At least five (5) years of recent experience in SAP PLM or similar system required
  • Recent experience in the Food & Beverage or CPG industry is strongly preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required (Biology, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, Food Science or Nutrition Science)


LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • English - multilingual is preferred

  • Arranges for cross training of direct reports to maximize productivity and provide coverage of all functions
