Lead Pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the planning and implementing daily pharmacy operations.
• Ensures staff education and competency requirements are completed.
• Indirectly supervises the pharmacy department personnel and assists management in assessing annual performance metrics.
• Communicates information effectively.
• Ability to make timely decisions and manage change process.
• Must interface with all departments as part of the management team.
• Must be able to effectively operate all processes of the pharmacy workflow including, but not limited to, ADC management and troubleshooting, prepacking unit dose medications, barcode management, and ensuring kits are properly managed throughout the building.
• Must complete the Annual Pharmacist in Charge inspection and on-going narcotic distribution management.
• Responsibilities Computer Skills/IS Liaison Personnel Scheduling Computer Maintenance/ ADC management and troubleshooting Pharmacist in Charge Annual Report Controlled Substances Management.
