Adams Land & Cattle has an exciting leadership opportunity for someone to develop and implement emerging technologies throughout our business, as well as manage our IT team. This position is based in Broken Bow, Nebraska and the individual would split time in the office and operations while working for a company with state-of-the-art technology.

This person will be responsible for:

• 
  Evaluating, proposing, and implementing technology solutions to improve, redesign, and/or enhance business processes. May guide and assist business owners and/or project managers in determining the scope and vision of solutions.

• Collaborating closely with business groups, IT development teams, and product owners to ensure successful implementation of each solution.

• Managing projects according to established standards by communicating with relevant stakeholders on status of implementation, application-related issues, application requirements, enhancements, changes, outages, and/or other production disruptions.

• Understanding business processes and workflows to optimize the user experience with technology solutions.

• Providing technical support for business solutions, application-related user issues, and/or system hardware problems by performing root causes analysis. Communicate status of resolution to appropriate parties. May be required to provide technical support outside of normal business hours.

• Developing and managing relationships with technology vendors and suppliers, including managing contracts and partnerships with managed services partners.

• Overseeing the monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and administration of all IT systems.

• Planning, organizing, scheduling and leading day-to-day technical support activities.

• Building the annual IT operating and capital budgets, driving efficiencies in the business, and ensuring financial goals are achieved.

Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Networking or related field

• 4 years of experience in IT field with 2+ years of management experience.

• Willingness to learn and apply new technologies.

• Previous experience with the following technologies:

  • Windows desktop and server operating systems

  • Windows desktop and server hardware, maintenance, and troubleshooting

  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and SMTP

  • Wireless and wired network technologies

    • Cisco, Meraki, and/or Ubiquiti product knowledge

    • Switch and Firewall management

  • Office 365

  • Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting language is a plus

• Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or PLCs is a plus

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Possess exceptional troubleshooting skills and ability to assess complex programming applications

• Willingness to have schedule flexibility and travel as needed

• Strong leadership, project management and time management skills

This position requires:

• Being based in Broken Bow, Nebraska

• Exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Carrying, Lifting/Lowering, Bending, Twisting, Climbing, Reaching, Kneeling, Sitting, Walking, and Standing and other positional physical movements may be occasional to frequent.

Compensation Details:

• 
  Salary Range of $75,000-$120,000 annually
