Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Prior experience working around heavy equipment preferred

• Ability to do manual labor as directed by supervisor

• Reliable means of transportation to insure arrival to work as scheduled
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Ability to take instructions from supervisor and perform duties as instructed
• Must work well with others including customers, supervisors & company ownership

Work Schedule:

Work week varies with working days generally falling on Monday - Saturday. Must be able to work a flexible schedule since start times may vary and often is very early depending on the time of year and the order requirements for that day. Finish times will also vary depending on the work volume each day. There will be overtime hours during the busy summer months for this position. During the busy season this position will most likely work three 15 hour days per week.

Preferred Experience:

1+ year of experience working with and around heavy equipment

Conditions of Employment:

Successful candidate must submit to post offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen.

Job Summary:

The laborer position works in the mining operation wherever needed but is generally working around the crusher as instructed by supervisor in order to keep the plant operational.

Duties:

• Any and all tasks related to keeping plant running efficiently

• Assisting plant operator and supervisor as instructed

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent / GED Preferred
