Looking for a part-time kennel assistant. Must be comfortable working around all breeds of dogs. Duties include checking dogs in and out, letting dogs in and out of kennels, feeding, administering medication (if required), bathing and grooming. Will be responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of kennels, building, and yards. This is a very physically demanding job that requires the ability to multi-task, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and you will be working with and around cleaning chemicals. Must be reliable and self -motivated
Must have open availability. Shifts are 7am-2pm. Once trained your schedule will be pretty set. More hours will be available during our busy times such as school breaks and holidays. Weekend availability is mandatory as are holidays.
Experience working with dogs preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
