Responsibilities of the Journeyman Electrician:

· Maintains electrical service by diagnosing and repairing electrical problems.

· Organizes work by receiving and studying work orders; gathering tools and supplies.

· Diagnoses electrical problems by studying diagrams, manuals, and specifications; troubleshooting systems; conducting tests.

· Repairs electrical problems by replacing faulty parts and components.

· Maintains electrical systems by conducting system tests; completing preventive maintenance requirements;

· Keeps supplies ready by placing orders.

· Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with codes.

· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

· Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Project Foreman/Superintendent

· Supervising and mentoring field personnel

· Capability to plan and install complete electrical systems in the commercial, industrial, healthcare and educational sectors.

· Capability to plan and manage all onsite manpower needs, and installation requirements.

· Supervising and mentoring field personnel

· Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and general contractor

· Implementing and monitoring the construction plan; including scheduling and logistics

· Monitoring job costing, quality reporting, forecasting and productivity

· Planning and ordering of all project materials

Foreman Required Experience:

· At least 7 years of experience managing crews and running projects.

· Active journeyman or master electrical license

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Detail-oriented and well-organized

Valid driver’s license
