Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidates to join a high-performance team and provide support to the US Space Command (USSPACECOM) J3. This position will assist in the development, review, and execution of joint space operational planning across all space mission areas in support of USSPACECOM operations.

What you will be doing:

• Support the three Joint Planning Groups within USSPACECOM J351 to execute adversary-based planning by supporting joint planning in accordance with Joint Publication 5-0 and other Joint Operations directives.
• Participate in activities to integrate and synchronize plans, concepts, designs, and methods with the Joint Staff and other space mission stakeholders.
• Schedule, secure, and setup meeting location and communications and support the planning and execution of Joint Staff and USSPACECOM exercises and war-games including necessary travel and extended workdays for large-scale Global Exercises.
• Attend USSPACECOM-provided training and use command-directed tools for execution of tasks such as Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) and Task Management Tool (TMT).
• Support the Campaign and Integration Teams of J352 to support campaign plan development, annual order, and Operations via the execution of Operational Planning Teams (OPT), Combat Action Rehearsals (CAR), and use of C2IE.
• Support joint planning in accordance with JP 5-0 and Joint Operations JP 3-0 series, participate in OPTs, and integrate and synchronize plans, concepts, designs, and methods.

What you will need:

• Five or more years of experience in initiating and/or developing Government specified content for joint operational planning
• Experience in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations for space mission and program challenges
• Strong verbal and written skills; ability to communicate effectively with senior officers and government civilians
• BA/BS or 6 years operational relevant experience in lieu of a degree; MA/MS desired
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple customers
• TS/SCI clearance required; experience with SAP/SAR program experience. Willingness to submit to polygraph

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $110,000-$115,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
