Candidate Requirements:

- MUST BE LOCATED IN EASTERN SUFFOLK COUNTY LONG ISLAND, NY

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an IT Specialist with server exposure. Education and certifications a plus

• Strong Knowledge and experience with desktop and end user support
• Knowledge of Windows Server (2019,2016,2012)
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Scripting
• Exposure to GSuite (Google Apps)
• Exposure to corporate antivirus/antispam, security & backup solutions
• Exposure to TCP/IP, Switching, DNS, and DHCP
• Knowledge of VMware/Virtual Environments
• Knowledge of Firewalls
• Knowledge or exposure to VoIP a plus
• Knowledge or exposure to Google Enterprise a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers, sales people, vendors and peers

• Excellent organizational skills with ability to team with others to develop and implement complex projects
• Must be neat, organized, energetic, and show initiative

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in supporting devices and end user problems via a ticket tracking system.
• Assist in planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining windows servers and cloud based applications.

• Troubleshoot client/server problems, cabling, and software application problems.

• Assist NOC and Systems Administrator in network management.
• Provide detailed documentation of work and environment.
• Work to achieve the technological vision.
• Handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain a positive attitude and good customer service.

** We have customer locations that may require finger printing and background checks. **

Full time position - Monday through Friday - 7 am to 3 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
