Position Title: Service Desk Support Analyst

Position Purpose

The Service Desk Support Analyst monitors and responds to IS service calls/requests via help-desk line and electronic ticket submission tool. Assists end-users in resolving hardware/software problems and create service tickets for escalation to the appropriate IS staff.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of PC repair and different operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and solicit information from the customer to make decisions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field or degree in lieu of experience.

Education: Minimum of AA Degree in computer information systems or equivalent work experience.
