Core Accountabilities and Essential Functions

• Moving products or equipment in and out of storage.
• Monitoring stock levels, conducting checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining clear aisles and adhering to health and safety practices.
• Following picking lists and entering data into warehouse databases.
• Maintaining stated productivity and quality levels.
• Keep track of the goods and supplies in the ERP system.
• Inspecting goods received for damage and distributing products to other departments.
• Keeping accurate records of received material.
• Supervise the local shipping and receiving operation including coordinating movements into and out of the local facility, along with critical point-to-point movements outside of the local facility.
• Packing and wrapping items in preparation for dispatch.
• Assist inventory control management.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with inventory control in a warehouse (preferably in the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields)
• Forklift certification

• In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory, and supply management systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing, and the ability to maintain vendor relationships.
• Direct experience with spreadsheet computer applications
• Ability to use purchasing software
• Intermediate experience with using Excel formulas, functions, and pivot tables, advanced experience with Word mail merge functionality
• Ability to navigate the complexities of a start-up and deliver projects on time, at cost, and at quality standards that are expected in the automotive/aerospace industry.
• Must be a team player and be able to function in a collaborative environment.
