Job Description

We are looking for a qualified IT Specialist that will be responsible for providing hardware and software support for IT systems, including: servers, storage devices, PCs, network switches, firewalls, wireless access points, IP cameras, phones, etc. Their primary objective will be to prevent downtime of these systems through careful monitoring, system maintenance, and repair. They will also provide help-desk support and training for office and plant staff, and will be responsible for maintaining IT department documentation. They will fulfill additional IT department roles as needed, and support all other departments.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (or related field), or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience:

• Supporting Windows Server operating systems
• Supporting Microsoft Office applications
• Configuring and installing managed network devices
• Troubleshooting network communication problems
• Installing, testing and repairing network cable
• Providing hardware and software help-desk support to end users.

Must be able to:

• Communicate clearly in person and in writing
• Methodically troubleshoot problems and work independently to find solutions
• Fulfill multiple job roles simultaneously and manage time efficiently
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Work overhead on a lift at elevated heights
• Work after-hours and weekends as needed
• Operate, or learn to operate a boom lift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
