The Role


New Engen and Acorn’s Analytics practice is a growing and evolving area of the business, and we are looking for individuals who are intellectually curious and focused on being strategic problem-solvers to not only drive client success but also help shape the direction of our organization. We love data and challenging best practices, with a particular focus on using data to tell compelling stories to our clients.

The Manager, Influencer Analytics is a manager level role focused on supporting campaign, retailer, and industry analysis as well as identifying opportunities for internal and external efficiencies. You are focused on driving actionable intelligence and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, driving continual campaign optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Help to identify opportunities for overall growth and development of our capabilities both today and in the future.
  • Primary point of contact to internal stakeholders and clients for measurement needs; manage day-to-day communications for analytics projects and deliverables
  • Act as a subject matter expert as needed with clients
  • Build compelling, data-based stories, solutions, and content testing frameworks based on clients’ business goals and objectives and deliver as part of an integrated roadmap and delivery plan along with Client Services, Strategy, and Sales
  • Deliver end-to-end, actionable campaign insights, quarterly trend reports, performance dashboards and other various analyses, leveraging media, content, and performance data
  • Plan and execute KPI and measurement frameworks, test/learn strategies and optimization scenarios to optimize clients’ media performance
  • Leverage tools such as cloud databases, R, Python and various BI tools to deliver scheduled and ad hoc insights
  • Determine opportunities for enhanced scale and efficiency by regularly reviewing current processes and suggesting new approaches, and work with our technology team to implement these solutions
  • Respond to support requests and troubleshoot data and reporting issues
  • Partner with our technology and dev team to maintain reference lists, business rules, and other data and process documentation relevant to client and internal deliverables
  • Manage analysts and provide thought leadership, coaching/mentorship and career advocacy to junior team members

Required/Preferred Qualifications


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Operations, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field preferred; advanced degree appreciated
  • And/or equivalent work experience

Minimum Years of Related Work Experience Required:

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in reporting, data analysis or another support/analytics type role.
  • Experience managing projects that range from several days to weeks to months
  • Experience managing a team of analysts and other quantitative / qualitative thinkers

Specific Industry and/or Specialty Experience Required:

  • A strong understanding of relational databases and digital media & marketing technology (Mar-tech and Ad-tech tools, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, programmatic/OTT, The TradeDesk preferred)
  • Working knowledge of various data platforms and reporting technologies like Adverity, Datorama, Tableau and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience designing and measuring paid and organic media, for individual campaigns and across campaigns, clients, and industries
  • Experience analyzing influencer media preferred

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Previously interacted with external clients or 3rd party vendors managing relations, scope and work product throughout the relationship
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills, with previous experience presenting work products (analytics/marketing) to VPs and above
  • Expertise in problem solving across multiple verticals, channels and business problems
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of SQL, BI tools and Analytics Tools (Python, R, Excel)

Salary Range: $96,000.00 - $127,200.00 The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
