Position Summary:
Orlando Regional Medical Center Rad Diagnostics Deparment brings you the highest level of diagnostic capabilities. Our licensed physicians and certified technologists administer tests to find the smallest of medical conditions, before they turn into major problems. Just a few of our diagnostic tests include:
  • 64-Slice Cardiac Somatom Computed Tomography (CT) Scan
  • Telsa 1.5 High Field Open MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
  • X-ray and Diagnostic Imaging
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Ultrasound
  • Mammography
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Bone Desitometry
Position Summary
Observes and assists in various capacities to Orlando Health Imaging areas.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions 
Transports stretcher and wheelchair patients in a safe, professional manner, following HIPPA and handoff compliance. 
Uses double identifiers on every patient per The Joint Commission regulations for patient safety. 
Orders and receives weekly radiology supplies. 
Picks up and delivers requisitions, specimens and other materials within the facility. 
Assist with stocking and cleaning of rooms, puts away supplies correctly. 
Reports faulty equipment, hazardous conditions and/or incidents to supervisor for follow up. 
Returns equipment to designated storage area, maintains transport equipment and cleans, deodorizes and disinfects equipment
as needed. 
Maintains O2/suction supplies as required per facility. 
Utilizes all corporate radiology computer systems effectively and accurately. 
Delivers mail interdepartmentally as needed. 
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards. 
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other Related Functions 
Attends meetings and in-services as required. 
Maintains knowledge and skill level necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and status of the patients. 
Responsible for professional growth. 
Provides patient transport.
Qualifications:
Education/Training 
High School graduate or equivalent is required.
Licensure/Certification 
BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire
