SUMMARY OF POSITION

Phelps Security, Inc is looking for a passionate and experienced Human Resource Generalist with strong sourcing and talent acquisition experience. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting and the skill set needed to manage basic Human Resource functions. The HR Generalist will serve as the Team Leader in all sourcing of candidates and managing job openings for all departments of Phelps Security, Inc.

MORE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Execute full scope recruitment for a high volume of positions, which includes identifying and securing top qualified candidates for employment
• Ensuring an excellent candidate experience from a process and communication perspective
• Utilize a variety of methods and techniques to attract the best and brightest in the industry (e.g. direct sourcing, industry networking, resume database, employee referrals, etc).
• Compiles and tracks hiring statistics and presents weekly updates to Manager and any appropriate executive
• Develops proactive recruitment strategies in close collaboration with business unit senior management.
• General Human Resource tasks required regarding employee transactions such as benefits enrollment, file maintenance and other related tasks

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience recruiting in fast-paced/high volume strongly preferred
• Outgoing, calm, focused, results-oriented, self-motivated, entrepreneurial professional
• Able to draft / create job descriptions.
• Working knowledge of UI claims, Workers Compensation procedures, Etc.
• Stays abreast of market trends and tracks the competition
• Knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process

Strong working knowledge with internet, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
