1. Provides vision for overall HRIS design and adapts the design as necessary to accommodate dynamic and diverse business directions.

2. Provides effective leadership and direction to HRIS staff and develops a clear plan for optimization of the HR and ancillary information systems.

3. Continually assesses system functionality and recommends enhancements and ancillary systems to improve efficiency, controls and service to users.

4. Ensures staff is cross-trained on system modules and develops written plans for business continuity during system outage.

5. Serves as the project manager on implementing system upgrades, system enhancements and optimization reviews; assesses and implements appropriate levels of self-service and manages self-service functionality

6. Develops training plans and standard operating procedures for new system users.

7. Oversees all systems security; ensuring clear accountability and data security as well as compliance with applicable laws.

8. Works collaboratively with HR, Payroll, IT and Finance staff to maximize value of the HRIS and related systems.

9. Serves as a point of contact with vendors and Business Associates to determine data sharing standards and security.

10. Partners with IT resources to identify programming solutions and minimize system customization.

11. Conducts regular data audits and re-training with the goal of 100% data accuracy and functionality.

12. Follows best-practices for system design and implementation; maintains close communication and networking with system providers and users.

13. Assists in business and financial planning for system purchases and upgrades.

14. Establishes system maintenance and updates schedules to meet applicable deadlines (payroll, benefits, and legal updates).

15. Oversees production of scheduled and on-demand reports to operating departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in business or information systems or equivalent combination of education and system training and experience.

2. A minimum of 5 years experience in master file maintenance with UKG applications including HR, Payroll and Query, preferably in a mid-to-large size organization (over 1,000) employees.

3. Working knowledge of MS Office and other HR-related software, preferably HR Logix applicant tracking and KRONOS time-keeping.

4. Previous experience in HR and payroll administration with knowledge of applicable wage and hour and labor laws.

5. At least 2 years previous supervisory/management experience with exceptional leadership skills.

6. Previous experience in project management and/or system implementation.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

8. Six Sigma or similar process improvement training and/or certification.

9. Flexibility to meet business needs in a 24-7 operation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
