·HR, Payroll and Billing Specialist

Seeking a friendly and outgoing team member to oversee all aspects of our HR, Payroll and assist with our Billing – Data department. Please review the list of qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

Must haves:

· 3+ years experience with HR & Payroll

· 3+ years experience with QuickBooks

· Bilingual (English and Spanish speaking preferred)

· Proficient with Excel and Word

· Reliable transportation

· Able to work Monday-Friday (some Saturday’s)

· Working hours 6:30am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

· Process payroll for employees in the organization

· Maintain personnel database regarding salaries

· Manage organization budget and expenses

· Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues

· Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system

· Work with company database programs to process payroll

· Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense

· Act as liaison with payroll partner to ensuring the timely processing of payroll

· Review timecards prior to payroll processing to ensure accurate pay

· Work with the team to develop processes and recommend changes to remain compliant

· Liaison with other departments to gain a full understanding of practices and business needs

Qualifications:

· Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred

· Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required

· Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws

· Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications and Google Sheets

· Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills

· Able to work effectively with minimal supervision

· 3-5 years experience with timekeeping systems (ADP preferred)

· Ability to identify areas that require improvement or are at risk, make suggestions and help develop a plan to implement change and gain efficiencies

· Proven experience handing sensitive and confidential information

· Hands-on, proactive approach; flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving, results-oriented work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
