HR Business Partner


The HR Business Partner provides Human Resources support for the HR function. This role is critical in supporting our people strategy, providing internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Must understand the confidential nature of HR data and adhere to all Company policies and regulatory standards as related to confidentiality and security of personal information when processing transactions and addressing inquiries.

The position is responsible for:

Systems/Technology:
- Ensure data integrity in HRIS systems
- Routine maintenance of HRIS systems: entering and onboarding new employees, updating employee information, facilitating profile management, separations, etc.
- Attendance tracking: coordinate with managers to ensure employee hours are approved timely, PTO is managed, and time cards are complete
- Compile weekly and monthly reporting and trend tracking

Talent Acquisition:
- Support new hire onboarding
- Facilitate background checking process, E-Verify systems
- Initiate new hire orientation processes
- Create employment files

Administrative:
- Accountable for files related to HR, including employment, training, etc.
- Provide employee relations support for basic questions related to policy, benefits, etc., escalates as needed to the appropriate HR contact
- Support rewards and recognition processes
- Maintain required postings across multiple locations
- Provides administrative support to Vice President Human Resources
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

Other:
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and visitors in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadline
- Promote and maintain positive employee relations in a safe and productive work environment.
- Effectively communicate, build relationships and partner with managers.
- Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.

Expected Qualification/Education:
  • Associates Degree Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred, strong preference for HR degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with HR Information Systems
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Human Resource function
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with employee relations
  • Flexibility to work overtime on occasion
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
