HR Assistant/Receptionist Job at Vanguard Furniture Company
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards to appropriate personnel.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail.
- Takes applications
- Responsible for sorting and distributing mail.
- Welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Posts job openings internally and externally.
- Adopts supportive role toward all associates in work and benefit related areas.
- Assists in facilitating the planning of events with the support of human resource manager i.e. Christmas, Anniversary, Training, etc.
- Maintains company communications via looped TV message.
- Prepare numbers and maintain labor report daily in EXCEL.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photo copying and scanning.
- Communicates with the food vending services as problems arise.
- Assists with new hire documentation as needed.
- Pickup mail from mailbox daily.
- Completes projects and other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 - $18.00 per hour
