Role Summary:

Join our team as a Houseperson for the Madeline Hotel, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by supporting the Housekeeping staff with stocked linen supplies and satellite closets and delivering and retrieving items requested by guests and floor supervisor.

Core Responsibilities:

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done Within the Auberge family, our leaders our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Review the assignment sheet and update the completed assignments. Check with the supervisor for additional assignments throughout the shift.
• Load/unload linens and supplies in/out of cart following departmental procedures.
• Transport linens and supplies from the vehicle to designated areas.
• Organize and stock all incoming linens in designated areas/shelves.
• Monitor and maintain designated supply levels.
• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness of work areas.
• Assist housekeeping staff as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management to their understanding.
• One year prior experience in similar environment.
• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training
• The constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity. Occasional need to stand for long periods of time
• Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally.
