Responsibility / Duty
Maintain and monitor the discipline and conduct of student-athletes to support the image and reputation of the University and department

Manage and oversee the academic process for all student-athletes within the volleyball program.

Recruit quality prospective student-athletes and administer a highly competitive volleyball program according to Southland Conference, NCAA, and Nicholls State University rules and guidelines.

Minimum Experience Required
- Minimum three years of coaching experience at a high school level or higher
- Must have education and experience necessary to perform all the functions of a NCAA Division I Head Volleyball Coach
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution

Other Minimum Requirements
Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for Division I head coaching, including recruiting, planning, conducting practice and conditioning, administration and budget management, student-athlete and public relations, fundraising, and supporting the academic development and graduation of student-athletes.
