Emory University is a nationally competitive NCAA Division III institution and a member of the University Athletic Association (UAA), is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Golf Coach. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of highly competitive NCAA Division III golf program.

The University Athletic Association is the premier conference in Division III when it comes to both academic and athletic excellence. The Conference is comprised of Top 40 National Research Universities, thus seeking excellence in athletics while maintaining a perspective which holds the student-athlete and the academic mission of the institutions as the center of focus.

Job Description
  • Plans, directs, and evaluates all activities associated with the women’s golf program to include but not limited to practices, competition, recruiting, student-athlete development, budget management, travel arrangements, and staff supervision.
  • Ensures compliance with NCAA, UAA, and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with Sports Medicine, Sports Information, Strength and Conditioning and administrative staff when necessary.
  • Assists with operational needs of practice facilities.
  • Supports a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion that reinforces the university's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and demonstrates a commitment to working with a diverse staff and student body.
  • Operates intentionally and collaboratively with Campus Life members, as well as other senior administrators, to support the overall goals and objectives of Campus Life and the university.
  • Works with the Athletic Director and the Office of Development and Alumni Engagement to raise funds and develop fundraising activities to support the women’s golf program.
  • Attends department and Campus Life meetings and events as required.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated successful collegiate or professional golf coaching experience.
  • Working knowledge of NCAA Division III and its role as a top-ranked, private institution.
  • Current certification CPR/First Aid/AED
  • Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to operate within an extremely motivated, team-oriented atmosphere.
