JBay, LLC strives to provide extraordinary hospitality for members of its beach clubs in Breezy Point, NY and are looking for variable (seasonal) associates to join our talented teams for the upcoming 2023 Summer Season. :
This is a seasonal position and the anticipated first day of work is in May 2023 and the last day is estimated to be in September 2023. :

Guest Information Associate :
Summary: A Guest Information Associate provides exemplary customer service to all guests by being a knowledgeable information resource regarding area amenities and all activities.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for guests, always respond in a professional and courteous manner to all inquiries and guest needs
- Answer all phone calls in a prompt manner and ensure callers are treated with kindness and courtesy
- Respond timely to all email reservation requests
- Track and report data as requested by management
- Assist in parking lot management and be available to work in the outdoors directing traffic if necessary
- If called upon in an emergency, follow company processes for notifying management and dispatch services
- Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives
- All other duties as may be assigned
Requirements
- Must be organized and detail / task oriented
- Possess an outgoing personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
- Must be calm under pressure, with the ability to problem solve quickly and effectively
- Ability to multitask (i.e., speak on the phone, work on a computer while handling the public)
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., and perform bending, twisting, squatting activities while being on feet up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be 18 years of age
Education & Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school juniors & seniors)
- Experience: One (1) year of customer service experience.
