Position Overview

Responsible for assisting in supervising the daily operations of the CBRF, including but not limited to resident care and services, personnel, finances, and physical plant. The Assistant Administrator shall provide the supervision necessary to ensure that the residents receive proper care and treatment, that their health and safety are protected and promoted and that their rights are respected.

Majority of the position will be focused on the employees reporting to him/her.

Employee Management
  • Motivate and teach employees to support the philosophy of Castle Senior Living, Inc.
  • Monitor employee schedules to ensure facilities are appropriately staffed at all times. Assist employees, when necessary, in finding shift replacements. The Assistant Administrator must work the shift if no-one else is available
  • Perform Investigations for any theft or misappropriation of any type immediately, including missing narcotics. Work with Human Resource to administer drug testing if necessary.
  • Ensure all employees are following proper policies and procedures; work in tandem with Human Resources to administer discipline in a timely manner when warranted. Conduct corrective action procedures according to company policy and retrain employees as needed.
  • Train and ensure Caregivers are completing tasks.
  • Respond and follow-up with any employee concerns promptly.
  • Complete new hire, orientation, 30/60/90 day and quarterly reviews.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • CBRF certifications
  • Experience working in senior living industry
