Novelis is seeking a GPMO Senior Portfolio Technology Analyst. In collaboration with various teams, the GPMO Sr Portfolio Technology Analyst will create and establish all technology requirements and business workflows for the Global Project Management Office (GPMO). The candidate will lead portfolio reporting technology, strategies around automating key performance indicators (KPIs), GPMO best-practice online library architecture, security on GPMO confidential content, and diligent configuration management control. The person in this role will report to the GPMO Transformation Head.

As a partner, you will support both interim and long-term solutions to help foster industry-leading capabilities for portfolio capital project technology. This position will champion the technology tools, capabilities, and adoption solutions that enable the success of transformation goals for the organization and the Global Project Management Office (GPMO).

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the GPMO Technology requirements, business flows, deployment strategy, and implementation roadmap aligning with critical stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive plans to accelerate automation of critical portfolio KPIs
  • Build meaningful technology dashboards to enable decision making
  • Develop Portfolio/Production scenario modeling tools
  • Develop GPMO Resource pages in Sharepoint/Novelis Intranet to host an organization reference platform for GPMO documentation
  • Contribute to technology governance development initiatives and thought leadership
  • Provide coaching/mentoring to team members and project teams when it comes to navigating new technology and systems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in business process technology and analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in portfolio management and / or managing multiple project development phases
  • Experience in strategy planning, data analytics, and financial analysis
  • Experience in Agile Project Management
  • Expert level in MS Excel
  • Experience developing Power BI interfaces
  • Experience with SAP and/or Oracle
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to influence outcomes in global and matrixed organizations
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences, Business, Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, Masters, or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience
  • Agile Project Management Certification
  • SharePoint Intranet Development
