Avison Young Eagan, MN is seeking to hire a full time custodian to join our team. You'll be part of a team responsible for the cleanliness of one building with 3 floors.
Responsibilities:
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Clean and supply restrooms
- Clean windows and mirrors
- Dusting, and other tasks related with general cleaning.
- Trash removal, recycling and compacting
- Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Operating floor machines for cleaning, waxing and buffing
- Machine cleaning/maintenance as needed.
- Employee moves, rearranging furniture as needed
- Complete assigned work orders
- Other general cleaning responsibility as assigned
- Provide backup for dock activities, receive and log all parcels, and deliver to end users.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Previous custodial experience required
- Knowledge and understanding of safety and security procedures and comply to environmental policies as it applies to cleaning chemicals
- Must provide exceptional customer service to all plant employees
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
