Overview:

Keller North America’s Kiowa, CO location is looking for A Line Technician (Labor). Responsible for performing and maintaining the daily activities associated with a production line. This includes the responsibilities listed below. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required. Ability to work varying shifts is also required due to equipment changeovers.

This will be an Entry Level position. Entry positions starting at $18-22/hr. for swing shift positions. The opportunity to work overtime will be available.

This position also comes with the opportunity for growth within Keller. We will train the proper candidate for other positions such as welder, mechanic, Field Labors, and equipment operating positions. Some of the Positions come with the opportunity for travel.

Responsibilities:

· Embraces A Safety Culture

· Manages a plastic extrusion line to ensure finished goods meet quality specifications that meet customer needs.

· Troubleshoot process and mechanical problems and perform repairs and adjustments to meet production needs as required.

· Minimize down time on extrusion line.

· Conducts regular product sampling to ensure consistent quality.

· Troubleshooting problems, perform quality checks to ensure thickness/weight are met.

· Perform tooling changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.

· Accurately completes shift production and reporting paperwork.

· Keeping work area clean.

Job Skills:

· problem-solving skills.

· Reading and Writing skills.

· Self-motivated.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Experience with forklifts a plus (Not necessary)

· Must have valid driver’s license.

· Strong work ethic and ability to work in a construction/shop environment.

· Organize, clean, and maintain a safe work area.

· Ability to perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time

· Position requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.

· Ability to stand and be mobile up to a 12-hour shift.

· Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.
