Kitchen & Bath Deconstruction Specialist

Renovation Angel, a 501(c)(3) non-profit and the nation's premier kitchen, bath and furniture recycler, is on a mission to save the planet by keeping kitchens out of landfills. Since 2005, we’ve helped divert over 42 million pounds from landfills through our kitchen recycling mission. That’s over 7,300 kitchens recycled equating to over $25 million in recycling jobs and $2.3 million to charity.

We are currently looking for talented craftsman to dismantle these kitchens for reuse. This is an interesting opportunity to work in some of the finest homes in South Florida, every day in a new setting.

The candidate we hire must be:

• Self-motivated
• Able to uninstall kitchen cabinetry, appliances, etc.
• Able to disconnect plumbing and electrical
• Capable of leading a team to handle a complete kitchen dismantle and move
• Careful, conscientious and safety minded
• Good with people and able to communicate effectively
• Capable of travel to out of state projects as well as the entire south Florida market
• Capable of overseeing a storage/warehouse setting for product before shipment

This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves heavy lifting: lowering and carrying kitchen cabinets, appliances, furniture, etc. that typically weigh 25-70 pounds. Items may be in walk-up apartments and employee must be able to uninstall whole kitchens and bathrooms in a timely manner, while protecting product and clients’ home. The complete process includes wrapping, packaging, and inventorying items so they're protected while in transport. This is a position that has great growth potential as we develop the Florida market. In the beginning you will be working with subcontractors and hired labor and then developing to a full time team. In the training period we expect candidate will travel to the New Jersey market to work with our existing teams for some training. There will also be required travel to other states to complete projects.
