The Town of Richmond is seeking innovative, community-oriented candidates for the position of Patrol Officer. Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be of sound physical and mental health, and hold a valid Maine driver’s license. Graduate from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy preferred.

Pay rate commensurate with experience a benefit package including paid vacation, holiday, sick, overtime and personal days; health, dental and income protection for employee and/or family coverage, options are available. Additionally, Maine State Retirement participation, in-service training and higher education opportunities are available.

* $2,500 after FTO, $2,500 after 1 year, $5,000 after year 2, $5,000 after year 3 (Must be certified blue pin)
*40 Hours advanced vacation time, vacation is 8 hours earned per month thereafter
