Job Title: Front of House Floater

Reports to: General Manager, Kitchen Manager, and Tap Room Manager

Job Summary

Aiding the wait staff with cleaning tables, taking utensils, plates, and any other dishware back to the kitchen to be cleaned. Keeping guests water glasses full throughout their visit. Resets tables for the next service, restocking utensils, napkins, and any other items that may need to be restocked for the front of the house. Making sure the guests received their food promptly and correctly

Essential Functions:

• Promptly deliver each course as it is prepared to the correct table and in order
• Communicate clearly any additional orders or needs the guests may have to expeditor or sever
• Serve water to guests and refilling beverage glasses as needed
• Place and replace silverware as needed
• Deliver beverages from the bartender-if of legal age
• Answer guest questions or listen to their concerns
• Remove guests’ dirty dishes and utensils in a timely manner
• Deliver used dishes and utensils to the kitchen for cleaning
• Immediately sanitize tables and chairs and reset menus for seating of new guests
• Direct guests to restrooms or exits as needed

Qualifications

We're looking for an outgoing Front of House Floater to join our team! This position would be responsible for assisting in cleaning tables, taking plates, utensils and drinkware to the kitchen to be washed. Making sure diners' water glasses are full, and reset tables for the next service. The Floaters is also responsible for ensuring each customer’s food order is delivered promptly and without mistakes. As well as, restocking utensils, napkins and other dining room needs
