JOB DESCRIPTION: Front of House/Barista
Irving Farm is looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join the team at our Millerton, NY cafe. This is a position which does not require previous experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain attendance and punctuality
- Provide service in a fun, friendly and efficient way
- Follow Irving Farm standards for opening and closing procedures
- Work the register taking orders and ringing up customers
- Assist staff from other departments when requested and where able
- Be knowledgeable about new coffee offerings and participate in tastings of new coffees
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with other
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Detail and customer oriented
- Previous experience in similar positions preferred
