Oakland Psychological Clinic is a premier outpatient private practice offering mental health and chemical dependency services in 8 convenient locations in Southeastern Michigan. We are seeking a Full-Time Office Support person to support our Flint, MI location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for acting as a receptionist both in person and over the phone
• Facilitates client’s entry into treatment by assisting with paperwork and responding to any inquiries
• Completes and facilitates general office communications
• Assists in the smooth operation of the office and clinic
• Maintains a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct

Requirements:

• Available to work flexible hours
• Comfortable on computers (EMR experience preferred)
• Exceptional customer service skills
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting

Salary Range:

• $12-14/HR

Hours:

40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, (Wednesdays 12 PM to 8:30 PM), occasional Saturday availability required, and evenings 1-2 days a week

This position has a rotating schedule within operational hours

Oakland Psychological Clinic, P.C. (OPC) is an outpatient mental health and chemical dependency clinic serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and the elderly with eight convenient locations in Southeastern Michigan. The company was founded by Barry Tigay, Ph.D. in 1983. Dr. Tigay received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Wayne State University in 1977 and did his internship at Lafayette Clinic in Detroit. He was President of Psychological Resources Inc. in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan prior to founding OPC.

OPC was established to serve the mental health needs of a diverse population base in southeastern Michigan and to respond to changes in the nation’s healthcare delivery system. Insurance companies and employers have begun to contract with larger, multidisciplinary practices to meet stringent standards of quality and improve access to care. OPC offers healthcare consumer choices. Patients have choices in location, therapists, professional orientation, time, and day of the appointment. A wide variety of mental health counseling services are available at OPC.
