Freight Analyst Job at Circle K
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field and / or 1 to 3 years of business experience. Combination of education and experience indicating the candidate is qualified to perform the essential functions of the position will be considered. Candidate must have well-developed communication and organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools; Excel to include advanced tools, Access, Power BI and other desktop applications a plus.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Process / review daily freight invoices.
- Research and resolve all billing discrepancies.
- Request information on mileage discrepancies.
- Log tickets to work on internal issues.
- Submit any new rate tables for approval.
- Ensure proper documentation is received from vendor.
- Assist in providing documentation for audit requests.
- Review vendor statements, make sure accounts are up to date and discrepancies are documented.
- Create / upload daily vendor files. Work with vendors to resolve any file creation issues.
- Maintain vendor relationships.
- Reconcile vendor payments for draft carriers.
